About the Author
Dylan Shroll is a cybersecurity engineer, researcher, dog-mom and coach. Her passion is for the human impact that well-practiced cybersecurity can have. In her free time, she coaches the Valley High School cybersecurity club, writes music, and takes grainy film photographs of landscapes.
About the research
Adversaries have long held the advantage when engaging with defenders in cyberspace. To shift this balance of power, Dylan’s research exists at the intersection of deception and cybersecurity. With a focus on creating immersive deception narratives using advanced and customized AI/ML tools, Dylan hopes to positively impact the technology spaces that have long been her place of refuge.
